Kirra-Alyssa is an emerging young activist and a Lived Experience Consultant with the Berry Street Y-Change Team. A strong facilitator and speaker, Kirra is particularly keen to apply her investigative mind to finding ways to ensure that young women and girls have the skills and strength to challenge rape culture and keep themselves safe. She also has an interest in addressing the absence of children and young people in the family violence narrative. Kirra and her mum provide foster care for Indigenous children in the child protection system. She is currently studying the Diploma of Community Services at Swinburne.
