This is a three-part webinar delivered over consecutive weeks, sessions cannot be attended individually. The Webinar will be delivered via ZOOM and for privacy reasons will not be recorded.
For more learning opportunities with Richard and other subject matter experts visit our Excellence in Practice Website.
Once again we are proud to partner with Richard Rose, Honorary Associate of Berry Street, Director of TLSWi (UK), Adjunct Associate Professor of Social Work and Social Policy at Latrobe University and Honorary Associate at the Institute for Open Adoption Studies, University of Sydney. Richard is a leading expert on Therapeutic Life Story Work and working with 'hard to reach' children and young people.
Therapeutic Life Story Work enables children and young people who have experienced the trauma of child abuse and neglect to reflect on their past, develop compassion for themselves and begin healing. Learn about this defined approach which supports the child to make significant changes, as a result of a far deeper understanding and awareness of how their history has been negatively impacting on their present.
Attendees will need to have texters, paper and a note pad available for each session.
This topic will be delivered over a series of three webinars:
Session 1 - Thursday 15 April, 8am - 10am (AEST)
An introduction to Therapeutic Life Story Work: including theory, process and efficacy and information gathering.
