About this training
The content will draw from psychodynamic, neurobiological, attachment-based and organisational learning frameworks to inform the facilitation of reflective practice (RP) groups. Participants will be equipped to support other professionals to critically and reflectively think about and develop their practice with diverse children, young people and families. Guidance is provided around managing groups through all phases of their existence including choosing an appropriate model, establishing a new group, ensuring the safety of participants, responding to commonly occurring dynamics and scenarios, managing endings and group closure. Content also includes specific considerations for online delivery of reflective practice.
- To acquire the skills to design and run an on-line reflective group with the required level of technical expertise
- To identify and apply an appropriate theoretical reflective practice model suitable to the group in question
- To provide for the cultural safety needs of reflective practice group participants
- To have knowledge and tools to manage and facilitate a reflective practice group throughout its duration, from establishment to closure

Webinars: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 3 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a webinar for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees.
In-person Workshops: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a session for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees only.
Discounts: Registrations of 5 or more sessions (booked at the same time in the one booking for an individual or a group) receive a 10% discount off the total booking. Contact us for the discount code.
Registrations of 10 or more sessions contact us for a 15% discount off the total booking. The discount applies to a single session or a combination of sessions.
