About this course
This one-day workshop will introduce participants to Dr Bruce D. Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). Experienced and skilled NMT-certified Take Two trainers will demonstrate how the NMT is used to target interventions at the client’s developmental needs. Drawing on principles of neurobiology, developmental theory, trauma research and relational approaches to therapeutic work, this session will provide insights into effective intervention-planning that go beyond traditional mental health and therapy techniques.
- Introduction to the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics
- Introduction to the NMT Metric tool
- Understanding complex developmental trauma using NMT concepts
- Applications for therapeutic practice
Who Should Attend
This workshop is aimed at people working with and caring for infants, children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma; education and early childhood staff; Child Protection practitioners; mental health professionals; Family Services and Out of Home Care services staff.

A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 days prior to the workshop. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome.
