About this workshop

This workshop is targeted at professionals working with children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma, and their parents or carers. The workshop aims to increase participants understanding of how children and young people develop internal templates and negative relational associations that impact their ability to trust and utilize relationships in a reparative way. Participants will be provided with clear concepts and resources that can be used in their practice. 

Key Learnings

• 'Shame’ and how this manifests in children who have experienced trauma and neglect in the context of their caregiving relationship
• The cycle of Blocked Care – Blocked Trust - how to recognise and respond 
• The importance of Interactive Relational Repair – helping parents and carers know what to do
• Introduction to principles of PACE – Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity & Empathy.

Webinars: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 3 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a webinar for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees.
In-person Workshops: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a session for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees only.
Discounts:  Registrations of 5 or more sessions (booked at the same time in the one booking for an individual or a group) receive a 10% discount off the total booking.  Contact us for the discount code.
Registrations of 10 or more sessions contact us for a 15% discount off the total booking. The discount applies to a single session or a combination of sessions.
