About this workshop

This workshop draws on Dr Bruce D. Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) to provide participants with some key frameworks for intervention-planning for infants, children and young people impacted by abuse, neglect and other traumas. The content will provide an understanding of "therapeutic" work beyond traditional "therapy". This understanding can be applied across a range of contexts: from individual child-focussed work, to the child's home; family and caregiving settings; and schools and early childhood centres. Case studies and planning tools will be used throughout the session to build participants’ capacity to incorporate these therapeutic principles into their work with clients. 

The session is delivered by certified NMT Trainers from the Take Two service.

This session is suitable for professionals in case practice (family services and out of home care), mental health, education, child care and youth services roles.

• The neurobiological principles that underpin “therapeutic dosing”
• The NMT 6 R’s framework of therapeutic interventions
• The therapeutic dosing approach to working with the child's "therapeutic web"

Webinars: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 3 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a webinar for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees.
In-person Workshops: A full refund will be issued for cancellations up until 7 days prior. No refunds will be issued after this date however substitutions are welcome. Should Berry Street cancel a session for any reason, those registered at this time will be entitled to a full refund of registration fees only.
Discounts:  Registrations of 5 or more sessions (booked at the same time in the one booking for an individual or a group) receive a 10% discount off the total booking.  Contact us for the discount code.
Registrations of 10 or more sessions contact us for a 15% discount off the total booking. The discount applies to a single session or a combination of sessions.
